A joint exhibition with my colleague Steffan Hacker entitled "Witness to Humanity" will be on display at the Orr Street Studios in Columbia, Missouri from July 1 - August 14. There will be an opening program and reception on July 1 from 6 - 8 PM.

My image of a little girl in Fairbanks, Alaska has been selected for the cover of the 2009 Habitat for Humanity International calendar. Additional photos from Brazil and Canada are included in the calendar.

My photo essay on Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro has won Honorable Mention in the 2008 Photographer of the Year Competition. Individually the images earned Honrable Mention in the Culture and Travel/Tourism categories.

Escola de Samba and The Killing Fields are being featured in the Colors of Life Exhibition at The Gallery in Richmond, Virginia from March 27 - May 17. The same exhibition was recently on display at the Instituto Italiano di Cultura in Washington, DC from March 10 - 19.

The Killing Fields has won Honorable Mention in the People and Editorial categories of the 2007 Photographer of the Year Competition. Sadhu won Honorable Mention in the Culture category.

Sadhu has won First Place in the People category of Smithsonian magazine's 4th annual photo contest. The photo can be seen on Smithsonian magazine¹s Web site, and it has been published in the magazine's June issue. It will also be on exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution Castle on the National Mall in Washington, DC between July 1 and August 15, 2007.
